Skills For Life Training the ESOL Teacher trainers

The programme is based around the subject knowledge in teacher training modules developed as part of the Skills for Life initiative. It is aimed at ESOL teacher trainers who are experienced, but who nevertheless do not feel confident to deliver training on certain aspects of the ESOL subject specifications at level 4. Participants will select one of the following modules to work on in detail: · The Social Context of ESOL (level 4) · Language Acquisition and Learning (level 4) The programme aims to consolidate participants' expertise regarding the content of the module they have chosen and increase their confidence to deliver any level 4 training on either the Social Context of ESOL or Second Language Acquisition and Learning.
