Building rapport is one of the most important components of a successful teaching and learning experience. It is an ongoing process which needs our careful consideration all the way through the course, especially when interacting online.
There are many areas in our professional practice where many differentiated opportunities for building and sustaining strong relations with learners could be identified, which lead to increased motivation, confidence, wellbeing, trust and overall achievement. Alongside those, we will discuss some aspects of neuroscience and how the brain works. You will leave the session equipped with some tools as well as practical ideas and tasks to be used instantly in your classrooms.
