NRDC Effective Practice Research Conferences 2007 30th January 2007 - London 1st February 2007 - Sheffield These conferences offer an opportunity to find out about NRDC's recent research into effective practice in the teaching and learning of reading, writing, ESOL, numeracy and ICT. Five separate but linked research projects explored teaching and learning practices in numerous environments across all settings found within Skills for Life. The reports reveal a plethora of insights into the teaching and learning of adult literacy, numeracy and ESOL, and are to be launched at these conferences. Participants will be able to discuss findings with the researchers in interactive workshops, and to hear the DfES perspective on the policy implications.
