'The publication of World Class Skills: Implementing the Leitch Review of Skills in England underlines the Government's commitment to a prosperous future through skills, opportunity and ambition for people of all backgrounds. The Government has committed itself to the ambition of ensuring 95% of adults have a minimum of entry 3 numeracy and level 1 literacy and 90% of adults are qualified to at least level 2 by 2020. Research has shown the benefits of embedding Skills for Life such as greater success rates and improved learner satisfaction. DIUS sees embedding as an important part of delivering its skills ambition and to this end is exploring what more can be done to increase the amount of embedding taking place, building on all the work done so far to support this agenda. Getting the views of those involved in embedding is key to this process. NRDC running a series of seminars on behalf of DIUS. If you have practical knowledge of embedding, as a practitioner, teacher, middle or senior manager, consultant or researcher you are invted to attend one of the three events detailed below. There is no cost but you will need to let NRDC know should you wish to attend.'
