Research and Practice in Adult Literacy (RaPAL) conference

The RaPAL conference 'Inclusion and Engagement in Adult Literacy, Numeracy and ESOL' will take place at the National University of Ireland, Galway Friday 20th June to Saturday 21st June 2008 with a free pre-conference event on Thursdsay 19 June Keynote Speakers are: Professor Roz Ivanic, University of Lancaster. Sheila Rosenberg, author of 'A Critical History of ESOL in the UK, 1870-2006' There will be more than 24 workshops by presenters from Ireland, England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Canada, Lithuania, Australia and New Zealand.
