English UK Teachers’ Conference

Bookings are now open for the English UK Teachers’ Conference which brings together 200+ ELT professionals for thought-provoking sessions, networking and plenty of practical new teaching ideas to take back to the classroom. Due to our reciprocal partnership with English UK, NATECLA members can attend at the member rate.

• TIME: Registration from 9:00, Sessions from 10:00, Close at 17:00 with a drinks reception.

• COST: £82.50 (NATECLA or English UK members), £132 (non-members)

About the event

Highlights include plenary sessions from Ken Wilson and Laura Patsko and an elective strand (three sessions of 50 minutes each) on Learning Differences which may be of particular relevance to NATECLA members. 

Other confirmed speakers include Silvana Richardson, Adrian Underhill, Mark Hancock, Richard Cauldwell. Marjorie Rosenberg and Ben Beaumont. 

Other elective strands include teacher Development, Examinations and Testing, Speaking and Pronunciation, Grammar, Cultures in the Classroom and Action Research.

English UK would like to invite all NATECLA members to attend the conference at the English UK member price of £82.50, as opposed to the non-member price of £132. To book the event at this price, please do the following:

1. Go to the English UK booking site for this event
2. In the ‘application type’ section at the top, select ‘I am an English UK member’. You will be promoted to enter your membership number – put ‘9999’ here.
3. Please put ‘NATECLA’ in the special requirements box (contact details section) as well as adding any other requirements you may have. We can then see how many NATECLA members book for the event.
