UK 'citizenship test' unveiled

1 November, the Government is introducing tests for applicants for naturalisation to show that they have knowledge of language and life in the UK. From that date they will need to show a certificate that they have passed the life in the UK test or that they have attended an English language course which incorporates approved teaching materials on citizenship in the UK.
