You can contribute to a survey that will be used to inform the DfES on effective delivery of literacy, language and numeracy in the workplace The survey, being carried out by The Network, is for those who have delivered or are currently delivering language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) in the workplace. The aim of this survey is to report to the DfES on effective delivery of LLN in the workplace, and in particular the delivery of embedded LLN. The Skills for Life Strategy Unit defines embedded as 'teaching and learning which combines the development of language, literacy and numeracy with vocational and other skills'. Network researchers will seek to identify those factors that contribute to successful embedded learning and the barriers that prevent it. Therefore, it provides an opportunity for you to raise issues that will in turn inform future policy. Opportunities will also exist to promote your successes and share good practice through the development of case studies. You can either complete the survey on-line or download the survey in a printable format that you can post back to the Network. Both options are available at http://www.thenetwork.co.uk/national/survey/survey.htm
