QCA commissions an evaluation of the Skills for Life qualifications.

The Qualification and Curriculum Authority (QCA) has commissioned Tribal Education to carry out an evaluation of the Skills for Life qualifications. Neither ESOL qualifications nor Key skills qualifications are covered by this evaluation as the evaluation of the ESOL qualifications is being undertaken separately by the NRDC. The aim of the evaluation is to “Review whether the Skills for Life qualifications remain fit-for-purpose in the context of World Class Skills”. The consultation involves in-depth interviews with a range of stakeholders including: Skills for Life and vocational managers & teachers Employers and Unions Awarding Bodies National Stakeholders The consultation will operate across the full range of contexts and settings including; Further Education, Work Based Learning, Offenders and Ex-offenders and Adult and Community Learning.
