LSIS practitioner research grants launched 17 August 2009 In partnership with the Institute for Learning (IfL), LSIS has launched its Research Development Fellowship scheme to fund practitioners to carry out their own small scale action research projects in order to improve professional practice. Twenty grants of £6,500 each are being made available. On behalf of LSIS and IfL, the University of Sunderland’s Centre for Excellence in Teacher Training (SUNCETT) has designed the Research Development Fellowship scheme and will be providing ongoing support to the successful applicants.
