NATECLA's contribution to the government's Integrated Communities Strategy consultation

Many ESOL professionals will be aware that the government have been consulting on their 'Integrated Communities Strategy green paper.

The green paper invited views on the government’s vision for building strong integrated communities where people – whatever their background – live, work, learn and socialise together, based on shared rights, responsibilities and opportunities. The deadline for submissions was 5th June and NATECLA's Management Council have now submitted our final response which can be downloaded from base of page.

The document included an entire chapter dedicated to 'Boosting English language' (chapter 4) and we continue to stress the need for an ESOL Strategy for England.
