Contribute to the government's Integrated Communities Strategy consultation

Many ESOL professionals will be aware that the government are currently welcoming responses to their 'Integrated Communities Strategy green paper.

The green paper invites views on the government’s vision for building strong integrated communities where people – whatever their background – live, work, learn and socialise together, based on shared rights, responsibilities and opportunities.

The document includes an entire chapter dedicated to 'Boosting English language' (chapter 4) and NATELCA's Management Council has drafted its response. We will be submitting our final response before the 5 June 11:45pm deadline.

We would strongly urge as many ESOL practitioners to do the same. Please use our response to do this if it's helpful. The NATECLA-led draft ESOL strategy for England document might also help.
