Ruth Hayman Trust: In conversation with Lord Alf Dubs
NATECLA's nominated charity, the Ruth Hayman Trust, is delighted to invite the ESOL community to an online event during Refugee Week 2021.
- DATE: Wednesday 16 June 2021
- TIME: 18:00 - 19:30
- LOCATION: Online
The event is a conversation between two of the Ruth Hayman Trust's distinguished patrons: broadcaster Sue MacGregor CBE of Woman’s hour’, ‘Today’ and ‘The Reunion’ fame, and Lord Alf Dubs, a life peer and former Director of the Refugee Council, who has personal experience of life as a refugee having arrived in Britain as a six-year-old Kindertransport child from Czechoslovakia.
