Consultancy
In addition to its well-established teacher training arm, since 2017 NATECLA has been providing consultancy services to agencies and organisations involved in ESOL.
NATECLA Training and Consultancy is NATECLA’s in-house professional consultancy arm. Using experienced and highly rated professionals, we deliver high quality, current and affordable practical in-house training for ESOL and EFL departments, voluntary organisations and language schools across the UK. We also provide consultancy support on a variety of projects for a range of clients. These include conducting research projects, resource creation and general curriculum support in ESOL.
Services available
NATECLA’s team of consultants are experts in their field, quick to respond to a wide range of needs. Examples of consultancy services NATECLA can offer range from advice on materials or curriculum design, developing staff, research and materials writing to preparing for inspection. We work with, and have consultancy experience of, all further and adult education settings, from community and colleges to prison education. We have worked with small organisations including charities up to large support agencies such as the Education and Training Foundation.

Project to promote reading for prisoners with ESOL needs. Year 1- a booklist of reading books suitable for ESOL learners, with levels and commentary. Year 2- a series of creative writing workshops for ESOL prisoners. Guidelines and packs for staff who wish to replicate these workshops. A collection of writing produced as a result of the workshops.
